No. Whip auto-retries failed builds up to three times before you even see an error, and a failure never erases the conversation or earlier versions. Send another message in the same chat to continue — the rescue guide walks through it.
Your idea was ambitious enough to hit the per-build ceiling. Nothing is lost — Whip keeps the progress and says so: send a message like “keep going” and it resumes from where it left off. Splitting big ideas into a few messages works even better.

Yes. Keep chatting to edit — each edit creates a new version, and your published app updates when the new version goes live. Every earlier version stays in your history, restorable anytime.

Whip auto-generates the title, icon, and description from what you built — a custom-designed icon, refreshed for every version. You can edit the title, description, and tags on the publish screen.

Publishing, sharing, and growing

Your chosen version goes public: it appears in the feed, in search, and on your profile, and anyone can play, like, comment on, save, or remix it. Until that moment, everything you build is private. The publish flow, step by step.
Public content (titles, descriptions, tags, images) passes an automated safety screen before going live. If yours got flagged, edit the content and publish again — most blocks are quick fixes. Repeated false positives? Email support@whip.run. More in how moderation works.
The feed rewards engagement: remixes count most, then saves, then comments, then likes — plus recent plays. Practical moves: give your app a great highlight reel, publish when you can share the link around, and make things people want to remix. New apps also get a fair-shot boost their first day.
Be flattered — remixing is Whip’s biggest compliment and its strongest discovery signal. Your app keeps automatic credit (“Remix of…” links back to you), you get notified, and remixes boost your app’s ranking. Remix culture, explained.
To take it off the feed, delete the app; to just tidy your own Home, archive it. There’s no one-tap unpublish today. Archive or delete, explained.
No — playing your own app doesn’t inflate its play count or ranking. Every play you see on your numbers is a real person.
